The Short Story: The Rams used strong singles and doubles performances to sweep Saint Louis on Thursday morning and advance to the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Women's Championship.
Opening Serve
- VCU started the match by taking the first doubles match on court three with the pairing of Yelizaveta Karlova and Andrea Magallanes. Saint Louis would take the doubles match on court two, but the Rams would take the contested doubles point with a 6-3 win by the pairing of Mariam Ibrahim and Tania Isabel Andrade Sabando on court 1
- The momentum would continue for the Black and Gold as Karlova picked up her third straight singles match win on court five and gave the Rams a 2-0 lead
