WOMEN’S SOCCER SIGNS ISABELLE FRANKLIN
RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Soccer announced the addition of incoming freshman Isabelle Franklin to the 2025 recruiting class.
Franklin was a multi-year captain at Meade Senior High School and brings a strong club and pre-professional resume with her. Most recently, Franklin played with Oni Premier Soccer Academy (OPSA) Magic and the Annapolis Blues USL W team.
The Fort Meade, Maryland, native will join the Rams for the first season under Head Coach Lauryn Hutchinson's leadership. She marks the sixth incoming freshman Ram, along with Brooke Owens, Jessica Gotshall, Mylana Stevens, Payton Rofe and Tatum Scialdone.
Franklin will don VCU's No. 13.
Franklin and the Rams will open the 2025 slate with a preseason exhibition match against the USL Super League's Power FC on August 2 at Sports Backers Stadium.
