VCU WOMEN'S TENNIS TO TAKE ON NORTH CAROLINA IN NCAA FIRST ROUND

This marks is the Ram's 21st NCAA Tournament appearance

RICHMOND, Va. - VCU Women's Tennis is set to face fifth-seeded North Carolina in the NCAA First Round on Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Rams punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament when they beat Richmond 4-1 in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. VCU will be making their 21st overall NCAA Tournment appearance and it's first since 2022.

VCU was drawn to the Chapel Hill regional hosted by the No. 5 overall seed, North Carolina. The matches will take place at the Chewning Tennis Center. If VCU advances, they will play the winner of Kansas and South Carolina on Saturday
