The Short Story: VCU came back in singles to topple the top-seeded Fordham 4-2 on Saturday morning to advance to the Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship match

• Fordham clinched the doubles point with wins on courts two and three.
• After dropping the first singles match, the Black and Gold captured their first point of the dual match with a win on court six from Sara Alba. 
• The comeback effort would continue for VCU as Senior Yelizaveta Karlova would tie the match at 2-2 with her 6-4, 7-5 win on court five.
• Tania Isabel Andrade Sabando kept VCU rolling with her two-set win on court two, to make the dual match 3-2.
• Sophomore Mariam Ibrahim clinched the dual match for VCU with her three-set win on court three.
