RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Women's Soccer junior Jazmin Jackson was one of 22 players called up to represent the Dominican Republic on the women's national team, the Selección Dominicana de Fútbol Femenina and Head Coach Betzaida Ubri announced this week.

Five other women's soccer student-athletes at American universities join Jackson on the roster. She is also one of seven athletes 20 or under who received the call. The complete list, as announced by the Dominican Football Federation, can be viewed here.

Not unfamiliar with representing her family's home country, Jackson competed in the 2023 Concacaf Women's U20s, 2024 Women's Gold Cup Qualifiers and 2024 Women's Gold Cup with the Dominican Republic Women's National Team.

The forward has recorded over 500 minutes in 11 games representing the Dominican Republic across the U20 level and the Women's Gold Cup competitions. She scored four goals in the Concacaf 2024 Women's Gold Cup qualifying round.

Jackson and the Dominican Republic Women's National Team are scheduled to return to action with a pair of friendlies against Honduras on Thursday, May 29, and Sunday, June 1.
