FIVE NAMED TO ATLANTIC 10 ALL-ROOKIE TEAM
VCU student-athletes claim honors for indoor success
RICHMOND, Va. – The future looks bright at VCU.
This week, five Rams were named to the All-Atlantic 10 Conference's Indoor Track & Field All-Rookie Team for their efforts over the winter.
Emmanuel Oche (60-meter dash), Chanan Mathis (200, 400), Jaiden Ogelsby (high jump), Isaiah-Taji Kargbo-Owens (triple jump) and Devon Brooks (weight throw) all earned honors for their debut seasons.
Oche captured the league's 60-meter title in February in a time of 6.73 seconds. Mathis placed third in 400 in 48.11.
