Lee becomes the first in program history named to four Freshman All-America teams

RICHMOND, Va. – As Jacob Lee's collegiate debut season progressed, its historical significance to the program continued to emerge. He climbed onto leaderboards, set freshman records and made elite company among some of the most prominent Rams.

With the announcement of D1Baseball's Freshman All-Americans on Tuesday, Lee became the first player in VCU baseball history to be recognized on four Freshman All-America teams released by a major publication.

Lee headlined his true freshman campaign with 17 home runs, topping the most by a true freshman with his 11th and passing MLB Draft pick Tyler Locklear's previous record of 16 in the final game of the season. He landed at third-most in a single season in program history with the mark.
