Grace and Broad Residence Center 1 opened in fall 2015. The building serves as a residence hall as well as the home of the VCU Leaders Engaged in Advanced Discovery living-learning program.

VCU LEAD is a living-learning program for sophomores (and above) focused on developing graduates who can successfully lead professional and civic organizations at a local, national and global level within their respective fields.
