The Short Story: VCU Women's Tennis comeback attempt in singles fell short as they dropped the dual match against Charleston Southern 4-3.
Opening Serve:
- The doubles pairings of Tania Isabel Andrade Sabando and Mariam Ibrahim on court two and Sara Alba and Andrea Magallanes on court three each won their matches to clinch the Rams' doubles point
- The Rams kicked singles off with a 6-1, 6-3 win on court six by Yelizaveta Karlova before the Cougars would take the singles match on court four and make the dual match 2-1
