MEN'S TENNIS HOLDS ON TO WIN 4-3 AGAINST DELAWARE

This is the Rams' sixth straight win against the Blue Hens

The Short Story: The Rams fended off a comeback attempt from Delaware in singles and held on to win 4-3 on Friday afternoon.

Opening Serve
After dropping the first doubles match, VCU captured the doubles point with wins by the pairings of Gevorg Mnatsakanyan and Nicolo Consonni on court two and Leon Zaorski and Alfred Almasi on court three.
The Blue Hens would capture the first singles after Erwann Bouchet retired on court three.
German Samofalov responded for the Rams with a two-set win on court one to give the Rams a 2-1 lead.
The back-and-forth affair would continue as the Delaware would take the singles matches on courts six and, and Kostianntynn Matach would take the close singles match on court five for the Black and Gold make the dual match 3-3
Alfred Almasi would win the dual match for the Rams after coming back from losing the first set in a tiebreaker on court four.
