MEN’S TENNIS ANNOUNCES 2024-25 SCHEDULE

Rams will play five tournaments this fall

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Men's Tennis Head Coach Dimi Kutrovsky announced the 2024-25 schedule on Friday.
 
The Rams open their fall season at the Seahawk Invitational (Sep. 13-14) down in Wilmington, N.C. VCU will also take part in the ITA Atlantic Region Championship (Oct. 10-14) in Norfolk, Va.
 
The Rams will then will have a chance to take home some Atlantic 10 hardware as they compete in the Atlantic 10 Individual Championship (Oct. 25-27) in Davidson N.C., which is being held in the fall for the first time ever.
 
VCU's fall schedule opens on Jan. 18 when they take on Virginia Tech at the Thalhimer Tennis Center.
 
The Rams will make a trip up to Charlottesville to compete against teams that made the NCAA tournament last year in the ITA Indoor National Kickoff Weekend. They will face Alabama (Jan. 25) and then take on either Virginia/Boise State (Jan. 26).
 
The Black and Gold will play their first of three Atlantic 10 matches when they take on Richmond at home on Feb. 8. They then go down to Norfolk where they will take on Old Dominion, who made the NCAA Tournament last year.
 
The Rams will end the regular season at home when they take on Saint Joseph's on April 17, and will then turn their sights to the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships (Apr. 23-26) in Orlando Fla., where they look to win their eighth straight title.
 
Last year the Rams finished 16-10 and are returning two seniors, German Samofalov and Gray Voelzke, who found themselves in the ITA Doubles Preseason Rankings at 66.
