RAMS FALL 5-2 TO FLORIDA ATLANTIC

Erwann Bouchet and Alfred Almasi got the Ram's two points in the match

The Short Story: The Rams dropped the doubles point and couldn't fight their way back in singles as they fell to Florida Atlantic 5-2 on Saturday down in Boca Raton, Fla.

Opening Serve

  • The Owls clinched the doubles point with wins on courts one and three
  • VCU was unable to stop FAU's momentum heading into singles as FAU won the first three singles matches on courts two, three, and five to win the dual match
  • After the dual match was already won, the Rams got their first point with a 1-6, 6-2, 12-10 win by Erwann Bouchet on court four
  • Alfred Almasi got the final point for the Rams with his 6-1, 6-7 (5-7), 10-4 win on court six.
