LEE NAMED FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN BY PERFECT GAME
RICHMOND, Va. – VCU baseball's freshman catcher Jacob Lee continues to etch his name into the record book, adding another Freshman All-American accolade to his resume as Perfect Game announced his second-team distinction Tuesday.
The release comes just a day after the Chesterfield native was named to the NCBWA's Freshman All-America First Team to become the sixth first-year Ram in the last 10 seasons to earn Freshman All-America honors.
Lee joined four other Rams in recorded program history who have been tabbed by multiple publications, including Tyler Locklear, whose freshman home run record Lee overtook in VCU's final game of the 2025 campaign.
On top of his Freshman All-America honors, Lee was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, A-10 All-Conference Second Team, A-10 All-Rookie, two Rookie of the Week honors, a midseason Freshman All-America designation and his most recent ranking by D1Baseball as the No. 36 catcher in the country.
