FIELD HOCKEY POSTS SECOND-HIGHEST GPA IN DI

20 Rams were also honored individually by the NFHCA

RICHMOND, Va. – VCU Field Hockey earned recognition from the NFHCA as the second-highest team GPA in Division I and had 20 student-athletes recognized by the organization.

As a team, VCU posted a 3.79 GPA for the fall 2024 semester, tied with Michigan State for second place and just behind Monmouth who had a 3.84 GPA. 19 Rams were honored by being named to the National Academic Squad and Scholars of Distinction.

Nine Rams were named Scholars of Distinction for having a GPA of 3.9 or higher for the fall 2024 semester. The nine student-athletes were Emma Clements, Luisa Fasold, Ella Fehr, Ava Radel, Manuela Secondo, Josefina Ventimiglia, Amelia Wagner, Genevieve Webb and Mackenzie White. Radel and Fasold earned the honor for the fourth consecutive year.

20 Rams earned National Academic Squad recognition for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the fall semester. Ana Afonso, Emma Clements, Carley Deaver, Callie Dieffenbacher, Ashley Doyle, Luisa Fasold, Ella Fehr, Madison Ferraro, Maggie Goodwin, Josephine Jense, Lynnsi Joyce, Morena Macera, Skyler Padgett, Ava Radel, Camila Rosenbrock, Manuela Secondo, Josefina Ventimiglia, Amelia Wagner, Genevieve Webb and Mackenzie White all earned honors.

Fasold, Goodwin, Padgett, Radel and Rosenbrock each earned National Academic Squad recognition each of their four years at VCU.
