"Thank you so much for your support of our student athletes here at VCU,"  head coach David Giffard said. "In an ever changing college sports landscape, your support enables us to continue to give young people an opportunity at an education and the chance to chase their dreams on the pitch as they represent Ram Nation on the national stage."

Heading into his fifteenth season guiding the Rams, Giffard needs continued support to keep VCU at the top of the conference. Giving Day contributions bolster the student-athlete experience through training and wellness resources that set VCU apart on the recruiting path.

VCU offers world-class resources to its men's soccer team, keeping them ahead on the pitch and in their academic paths. These investments yield consistent success in the classroom, evidenced by the team's cumulative 3.31 GPA in the fall 2024 semester. 16 student-athletes attained GPAs of 3.5 or higher and four earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.

"Your generosity provides us with the resources to train at the highest level, compete against top teams, and continue pushing ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves — both on and off the field," senior Mo Tucker said. "Because of you, I have the opportunity to grow as an athlete and as a person, chasing my dream every single day.

This Giving Day, your support ensures that future VCU athletes can experience the same opportunities to develop, compete, and represent Ram Nation with pride. Thank you for believing in us and for being a part of our journey. Go Rams!"

VCU Men's Soccer values competing year round in order to continuously improve for the fall season. The Rams accepted an invitation to participate in the Spring Soccer Cup, the nation's premier collegiate spring soccer competition. By playing against national powerhouses in the ACC and Big Ten, men's soccer student-athletes will improve their performance and motivation heading into training next season to fight for a championship.

"Because of you, we have the resources to compete, improve, and represent VCU with passion and determination," graduate student Camilo Comi siad. "Your contributions provide opportunities that shape us as athletes, teammates, and leaders, giving us the tools to push our limits and strive for excellence. This Giving Day, every donation helps fuel our future and brings us closer to our goals. We are incredibly grateful for your belief in us and the difference you make in our program. Thank you for standing with us—now and always."
